It's been quite a while since I've been at home this long! Along with everyone else in Western Washington, our day to day activities for the last week and a half have been halted by nature's wintery temper-tantrum. I love the snow most times, but we definitely didn't expect this kind of white christmas! Seeing as how Ryan and I have yet to give any gift to each other, I think the holidays will be extending well into January this year! My grandpa sent us a cute little birdhouse covered in birdseed. Naturally, I've already hung it up in one of the nearby evergreen trees (poor little birdies & squirrels)! Still waiting to see anything gets to it though.
I'm so grateful for our warm house (with enough propane this time around!), a pantry full of food, and online shopping! I'm also especially thankful for CHAINS (no accidents yet this winter)!
Here are just a few pic's from my
Photo Album:
1. The first snowstorm (last Thursday/Friday).

2. Deer behind our friends' house.

3. Our "better" snow route - the day after the worst of it.

4. Walking across the golf course to get our mail!
